The set contains a custom adapter plate and the Hejnar PHOTO F62ab Arca-Swiss® compatible Quick Release clamp.
By removing the current RC2 QR from your Joystick head, you can convert the head to accept the large number of Arca-Swiss® compatible rails, plates and other accessories not possible with the RC2 QR system.

| The M324RC2 adapter plate has two countersunk mounting holes near one edge for mounting on the Manfrotto 324 RC2 Joystick head, one 1/4"-20 taped center hole for mounting the F62ab QR clamp and four 5mm dowel pin holes placed around the center hole in 90° increments. It comes with two flat head screws for mounting on the Joystick head, one dowel pin and the appropriate Allen hex key. |

Mounting the clamp / Conversion Process
The conversion process is quite simple and completely reversible since it uses existing holes to mount the custom Hejnar adapter.

| Te conversion requires the removal of the existing RC2 Quick release from the top of the joystick head and mounting the adapter plate in its place. The adapter plate is secured with the two included hex-socket flat head screws positioned near the joystick grip and tightened well with the Allen hex key. |

| Although the adapter plate follows the F62ab QR clamp lines the clamp may be mounted in any of four positions at 90° increments to suit your ideal working position. Therefore, the included 5mm dowel pin which prevents the clamp from twisting may be inserted in any of the four holes around the 1/4"-20 threaded center hole. |

| Finally the clamp is attached be means of the included 1/4"-20 flat head screw and tightened by the 4mm Allen hex key which accompanies the clamp. As simple as that. |
